- Picture Book Picnic

A casual storytime program of picture books, songs and fingerplays.
Bring your lunch and a picnic blanket. Picture Book Storytime
will be held outside on the upper lawn if the weather is
nice, and inside the library if it's a rainy day. All Ages.
No registration.
- Teen Craft Program
Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 11:00am to 12:00pm
Join us to make some cool crafts this summer: beaded bookmarks,
rock painting, paper twirling, duct tape roses, and origami.
Ages 10+. Please register at the Children's Reference Desk.
There is a $1 Activity Fee.

Children of all ages are invited to stop by the Children's
Department on Friday mornings to make some crafts or take
some home to work on later Ages 5 to 9. No registration.

Teens who like spiders...and even those who don't...are
invited to join us for our Teen Movie presentations. Grades
6+. No Registration.
- Once Upon a Toon
Monday, July 28 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Get a sneak preview of the Three Rivers Storytelling Festival
when Joe Wos brings his fun, interactive program that blends
original stories and live cartoon illustrations to the library.
It's a program that will be enjoyable for children and adults
alike. All Ages. Please register on-line July 1
- Stuffed Animal Sleepover
August 1 to 2
Why should children and grownups have all the fun at the
library? Bring your favorite stuffed animal to the library
so it can spend a fun-filled evening among the book stacks.
We'll finish up with a breakfast for both you and your furry
friend Saturday morning at 9:00am. One animal per registrant.
Ages 4 and up. Please register at the Children's Reference
Desk July 11 – 25. There is a $1 Activity Fee.

- Monarch Butterflies @ Northland

Learn about Monarch butterflies, hear a story, and make
a craft. Limit 25 children. Ages 6+. Please register on-line

Celebrate the end of summer reading club and the beginning

Join us as we release our rabble of Painted Lady butterflies.

- The Three Rivers Storytelling Festival
Friday and Saturday, August 8-9 all day
Praised as one of the top regional storytelling festivals
in the country, and all of the concerts are FREE!!!!! For
