Northland Library is supported by and serves the communities of Bradford Woods, Franklin Park, Marshall, McCandless, and Ross in the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh. We welcome all Allegheny County residents. For information about what we offer how to use our services, and how the library is governed, please select from the following:

Hours & Directions

Northland Library is located at 300 Cumberland Road in the Town of McCandless.
Northland is pleased to sponsor two bookmobile stops in our service area. For details, visit bookmobile information.

Our winter hours are: Our summer hours are:
  • Sunday: 1pm - 5pm
  • Monday - Friday: 9am - 9pm
  • Saturday: 9am - 5pm
  • Sunday: closed
  • Monday - Thursday: 9am - 9pm
  • Friday-Saturday: 9am - 5pm

Summer hours at Northland Public Library run from the Sunday before Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Northland is closed on New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Northland closes at 5pm on the day before Thanksgiving and on New Year's Eve.
